La Tour Eiffel, Champ de Mars et Trocadero: un voyage dans le Paris de la modernité

Through the history of the Eiffel Tower and the various monuments and palaces that surround it, you will discover another aspect of the history of Paris: that of the Capital's transition into modernity!

Closely linked to the history of the Universal Exhibitions that marked the development of the city in the 19th and 20th centuries. The Eiffel Tower itself was built for the Universal Exhibition of 1889, celebrating the centenary of the French Revolution. Designed by Gustave Eiffel, this bold metal structure has become an iconic symbol of Paris and 19th century engineering.

The Trocadéro, on the other side of the Seine, also housed pavilions and exhibitions during the Universal Exhibitions. In 1937, for the International Exhibition, the Palais de Chaillot was built on the ruins of the Palais du Trocadéro, providing a grandiose setting for exhibitions and cultural events.

This walk, which takes place mainly on the banks of the Seine, will also offer you spectacular landscapes allowing you to explore the capital more freely and with choice viewpoints for your most beautiful photos.
